Request for Tactical Awards Nominations

S.O.T.A. will be presenting awards for outstanding Achievement and Valor of its members in 2009 at the Annual Conference April 26-27, 2010

Deadline for Nominations has been extended to January 31, 2010

• Tactical Officer of the Year
• Tactical Team of the Year
• Tactical Support Personnel
• Outstanding Lifetime Achievement

Nominations must be made by a S.O.T.A. member and nominee must be a Tactical Team member.

Tactical Officer or Tactical Team nominees must have been on a tactical operation at the time the action was perform

Tactical Support Personnel Award is to a Paramedic, Negotiator or Communications personnel attached to a Tactical Operation.

Outstanding Lifetime Achievement Award will be given to a S.O.T.A. member who has distinguished his/herself in an outstanding manner either
in their community or  law enforcement arena on or off duty.

Nomination must contain date, team name, officer or officer names, detailed incident description an outcome of incident and any other
relevant information.

Nominator must list his/her name, department, contact phone and fax numbers, and two independent sources for verification.
